Maybe this isn't shocking for most of you, but for me it's almost unbelievable. Most of the women I know who have a similar build to me and have had children, don't start showing this much until closer to 24 weeks of pregnancy. Considering I am in the 16th week, I appear to be a little ahead of most of them. Like, 8 weeks ahead.
I still haven't gained any weight, not sure how that one is possible, but am not fitting into the vast majority of my clothes. Thankfully, I asked for some maternity clothes for Christmas, so I should have some better options in a few weeks.
Baby continues to be amazing! We go in for our 16 week 4 day appointment next Tuesday and look forward to seeing our little Viking again. I started to feel those beautiful little flutters that remind me a popcorn popping in my tummy last week. Already, this week they are feeling much stronger. I am amazed at how strong our baby is so early on, I have no doubt this will be a bit more uncomfortable in another 10-12 weeks :)
Life continues to go well, work and school are keeping me so busy I don't have much time for anything else. I look forward to a three week break from classes starting the week after next. Nik and I are also thrilled to be taking a trip to Arizona for Christmas and getting some much needed time at my childhood home! Thank you for all the wonderful emails, texts, and phone calls received. We appreciate the incredible support!
